The Marina Foundation Veterans Fund

The Veterans Fund was established in November 2014 when it received its first major funding. It financially supports local and regional organizations that focus on improving the quality of life for Marina’s veterans, active-duty military, and their families.

The purpose of The Marina Foundation Veterans Fund is to support financially the needs of Marina and regional organizations that focus on Veterans and active duty military, that lead to improving the quality of life of these individuals and families within the Marina community. 

Highlights & Impact

  • The Marina Foundation has helped to raise more than $35,000 for improving the lives of veterans in and around Marina.
  • TMF has received the United Veterans Council Certificate of Appreciation three times.
  • TMF also raised $40,000 for the opening of the new California Central Coast Veterans Cemetery (CCCVC).
  • TMF also received the CA Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) Certification of Appreciation in 2016 for assistance in opening the CCCVC.
